Blogging Just Got a Monster Boost

If you have been trying your hand at Internet Marketing at any time over the past half dozen years, then I am certain you have looked at the idea of blogging.   When someone decides to get an Internet presence, they usually think of either creating a website or creating a blog. There are big differences between the two.

A website is designed in html code and has to be crafted either by hand or with one of about a dozen popular web design programs available.  Web design is simple to start – at first!  However, once you get into it, you begin to realize that there is so much more to web design than simply creating a website and uploading it to your server.

Maintaining a website can be cumbersome and time consuming.  You can never just “hop on and make a few changes”.  You must open your bloated web design program, then find the specific html file that needs to be edited.  Once you are done editing, you must save your file then upload it to the server.  The server will ask you if you want to “overwrite” the existing file that is sitting on the server.  It can get confusing.

A blog, on the other hand, is now easy to update and takes very little time to run.  The biggest and most popular platform on the planet uses WordPress as a backend “content management system”.  In these blog sites, you have an “Admin” control panel that allows you to manipulate all the settings that you want to have managed on your site.  This part used to take some time.  Up until about two weeks ago, it might reasonably take an hour to configure your blog so that it was ready to rock and roll.

Once done you can make entries of all kinds to your site.  The WordPress themes allow you a different look for any niche you might be covering.  If you want to change a header graphic, you need to go in and edit some CSS code in the admin panel.  It is doable, but difficult for newbies.

I say it is now easy because two weeks ago the entire WordPress theme market took a monster leap.  With the release of an extremely flexible new theme, one company has turned blogging on its ear!  Now you can change header graphics on the fly with no CSS editing at all!  You can choose between having 1, 2, or no column sidebars for advertising.  You can embed search engine code to display ads with ease.  It is just copy and paste.  You can create regular pages, squeeze pages, sales pages, or contact pages.  The contact pages have a beautifully designed contact form – complete with capcha.

The theme works hand in hand with several plugins that make Search Engine Optimization a virtual dream!  Another plugin turns your site into a silo structure so that the search engines will know what pages to search in what order.  Yet another plugin helps you to create backlinks to your site.

I really believe that this new theme is going to enable everyone to create a web presence with total ease.  Work at home moms and work at home dads are going to be capable of creating a niche blog for themselves in less than an hour.  With the ease of monetization of this theme, folks will be making money by the end of the day.  Stay tuned and watch this one rock!
